I love taiwan.. do you think its possible to get a homestay at some coutnry side with great scenery for about a week?

Absolutely possible to find a variety of homestays wherever you go. Lots of countryside homestays available. You can just pick an area or city based on surrounding attractions (ie: Hualien County = Taroko Gorge; Yilan County = Taiping Mountain; Miaoli = Hakka Communities) and then look for homestays around there. I personally love the East coast; though less written about it international travel books, it's a favorite travel spot for local Taiwanese.
